Morning flight from Addis Ababa to Robe Airport. Upon arrival, drive to Bale Mountains National Park and enjoy scenic views of the highlands and forests along the way. Visit Dinsho, the park headquarters, where you can spot endemic wildlife such as the Mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bushbuck, and Bale Monkeys. Continue to your lodge for check-in and a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion inside the park. Drive across the Sofan Plateau, the highest alpine plateau in Africa, home to the rare and beautiful Ethiopian Wolf — the world’s rarest canid. Enjoy the stunning scenery of Harenna Forest, filled with giant trees, waterfalls, and abundant birdlife. Optional short hikes or coffee experience with local farmers in the forest. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, drive back to Robe and take your return flight to Addis Ababa. Depending on flight timing, enjoy a short morning walk or visit to a nearby village before departure. Upon arrival in Addis, transfer to your hotel or connect to your international flight.
